I am intrigued by this since it is only $40 after rebate. I was considering a Radeon 4670 or similar, since I am led to believe this is about equal in power, but seems to be much cheaper. Is there any reason not to get it at this price? Do these overclock well?

I don't play many games that are super graphically intense, but I have a large monitor that runs natively at 1920x1080 so I want something that can drive games like Starcraft II/Street Fighter IV/TF2/Counter Strike without problems preferably at that resolution.

$40 is probably about right for this card, but you need a better card for starcraft 2 at 1920x1080 if you want decent eye candy.

The card you linked is $46 with shipping. I would spend an extra $20 and get a 9800GT. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-288-_-Product

You will get up to 2x the performance of the GT220.

Street Fighter IV - 1920x1200: http://www.legionhardware.com/articles_pages/ati_radeon_hd_5570,6.html
GT220 = 53 fps
9800GT = 104 fps

Starcraft 2

If you can get a used 4850 1GB for $65, that's even better!

For 1080p you're going to need more horsepower than the GT220 can deliver. At the very least a 9800GT should drive the games you mentioned comfortably.

Get at least a GT240/9800GT/HD5670. The 4670 and to a lesser extent GT220 would be able to play that res at low settings if you absolutely had to, though.
