Is this graphics card worth it?

I bought my 6600GT like 2 years ago, and I think it finally died. So I figured the cheapest 8X compatible AGP card would be the X1600PRO for like 96$ retail from sapphire... I looked at the VGA charts and it says 10-20 more FPS in games and it's 256MB so I fgire twice the VRAM would be good...

anyone?

If you are going to spend $96, might as well get X1950GT for $125 after rebate

Otherwise you can get X1650 Pro 256mb for around $70 with rebate

But since you kept your last card for 2 years, it'd just go for X1950GT and make it your last AGP upgrade, assuming you have a decent CPU like P4 3.2ghz or Athlon 64 3000+.

The 1600pro is not much of an upgrade over your 6600gt. The 1900gt is a much faster card.
