Hello, I've got a geforce 4 Mx440SE and as is a little bit old, o perhaps, very old, i decided to try an overclock, what do you think about it?

GPU:
from 250Mhz to 350Mhz
Memory:
from 332Mhz to 433Mhz

I notice an increase in the FPS in every game but i don't have a way of doing a serios meseurment if know a good program to do so, please tell me, thanks

that's a great overclock but be sure to watch for fragments and video corruption or instability as this can be a sign of impending damage to your gpu and/or graphics mem (you might already know this tho)

nice to see you turn an MX card into a winner

you should post some 3dmark scores
what kinda other system specs you running ?

it seems to be pretty stable, if i do 360Mhz core it shows some very very tiny corruption so i go back 10 Mhz and... to the eye it is perfect, i'm downloading 3dmark now to test, i'm running a MSI K7T Turbo 2 mobo with a sh*t a SDR memory, 512mb, and a Athlon XP 1700+ Tbred A, at this very moment not overclocked but doing so when i get a TT Silet Bosst on these days, i would have bought it much time before but in January here in Argentina there is 0 stock... so... i hope in February now i will get it..., when i overlcock and get decent results i will post my results again, tomorrow i hope i'm going to post my current results running my CPU at stock

If you ask me, that's a retartedly good overclock for an SE. Keep in mind, though - overclocking your VRAM will give you more bonuses than OCing the core.

Any videocard which can give you more than 15% improvement in GPU/Memory is considered excellent since most top out at 8-10% overclock and start to produce artifacts.

well mine has give me 40% in the core and 30% in the memory, and I repeat to you, it really works well, i only hope it is not burning inside hehehe, let's hope...

one more thing... why overclocking the memory give more results than overclocking the core? i thought it was going to be the opossite because the core prepares the graphics... can someone explain it to me?
