Time to rise + time to fall = response time

yes 16ms is about as good as it gets currently, but should not the sole factor in your decision. See the recent AT article linked

Is this monitor the "same" monitor as the Hitachi 174 with an Acer logo?

fp567s. i don't feel like paying for a 17" right now when i know prices are going to drop like a rock probably. i'll get the 17" later for dual monitor support. my jacked up 19" crt still displays image, just a bit faded if i want dual monitor now.

Just wondering, but why did you buy it from microstorm? There are cheaper prices around for that monitor

local pickup. no shipping.

are you sure you searched for the 567s, the old 567 is 30ms. i found some cheaper prices, but after shipping and waiting for probably 10 days of shipping it would even out. i'm not wiling to wait, my current monitor is more or less fried.

not a bad price, but shipping is 20 dollars, and i seem to always have to pay tax on net buys in ca. oh well:) i wasn't willing wto wait.

anyways, so far, its not bad, blacks are decent, and no problems in fps games so far. havn't been using it for long, gotta setup my dual monitors now:)
