Corsair TWINX512-4000, 500 MHz, 512 MB, 2x32Mx64, 2x184 DIMM, 3-4-4-8, Twin Modules, 32Mx8
or
Corsair TWINX512-3200LL, 400 MHz 512 MB, 2x32Mx64, 2x184 DIMM, 2-3-2-6-T1, Twin Modules, 32Mx8
Or
Mushkin PC3500 CL2 - Black Hi Perf Level II

What memory would be good to OC with, I want to OC and have low CAS latency. Any other options I should be looking at?? I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe (nForce 2) with a Athlon XP 2200+

Thanks.

All of them are good OCers. Corsair better than Mushkin. Though, that TwinX PC4000 is gonna be awfully expensive. You could probally just get regular DIMMs instead of the TwinX, and save some cash.

Well they did a review on the new Mushin Memory and it OC very well. It was able to keep the CAS at 2-2-2

Don't get the PC-4000. It does not run well at low latencies. On an AMD sytem, 2-2-2 latencies = 15-18MHz memory @ 3-3-3

I suggest you visit a site with Asus Motherboard-specific forums, to determine which memory brands are most compatible with the memory controller of the Asus A7N8X.

I had poor overclocking performance with Corsair TWINX 3200C2 memory on my 8RDA+. I was capped at 207MHz FSB with 2/3/3/7 timings.

The cheaper memory in sig system runs 2/2/2/5 timings to 222MHz, 2.5/2/2/7 timings to 230MHz.

The problem is not quality - Corsair makes good DDRAM - the problem is compatability.

Hope this helps!

if you intend upon doing double ddr then go with the matched pair you will get good enough perfomancce that you can keepp your latencies and use the 5:4 and still have good enough performance not to need to oc very much. but ifyou are going to oc i am sure that you will be fine with the 3200LL.

Also what do you mean when you say doing double ddr??? Do you mean the dual channel???
