is this good hsf?

An all copper heatsink is a good thing. I have an Alpha PAL 6035 which has a copper plate on the bottom. I dont see any reason why that wouldnt work well for you, the price is not too bad also.
 
I am extremely happy with mine. Be warned though, that you temps in MBM can be up to 5C high due to the way that the Glaciator's design. Don't worry though as it cools as well as the SK6 and the 462A. Not to mention, low noise.
