I game on a hd7770, and it is pretty good for a basic rig. That CPU is not a good choice for gaming with a discrete card. Honestly, with a 400 dollar budget, you are going to have a very difficult time building a gaming rig. However, for use with a hd7770, I would go with the quad core athlon x4 750k, or a Pentium from Intel. Either should be close in price to the A4.

Will you need windows as well? There is 25% of your budget alone.

I would definitly upgrade the A4. Only a fool would buy an A4. At least an A6, an A8 even better.

You don't have to capitalize every word, just the ones at the beginning of sentences and proper nouns.

Paying for the IGP in an APU like an A4 and then getting a discrete GPU doesn't make a ton of sense. You're better off sticking with a CPU that doesn't have an IGP (or at least not a very powerful one).

For Rs. 26k, I would do:

Pentium G2020 Rs. 3.6k
Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 Rs. 3.5k
Corsair DDR3 4GB Rs. 2.6k
Sapphire 7700 1GB Rs. 7.8k
Toshiba 500GB Rs. 3.0k
Corsair VS450 Rs. 2.5k
Antec VSK4000B Rs. 2.1k
TP-Link 802.11n PCIe card Rs. 0.7k
Total: Rs. 25.8k

That is pretty cheeky... :sneaky:

Nice build. The first thing I'd spend more on is the RAM, 4GB just isn't that much these days.

An A4-4000 only has a single FPU. It is not enough for just about any gaming. Your fps will drop every time windows does anything in the background, even on games that are singlethreaded. The G2020 is probably a decent match with that video card. You should price out an FX-6350. It's worth about $20 to $30 more than a G2020 so if you can find it for that price its a viable option.
