I've been seeing these infomercials and some news broadcasted about it. Is "Photo reading" for real? Or is it just a lot of made up crap that's used for a scam? I'm sorta interested but they are charging like $200 for it!! :Q One of the companies that is selling it is called "Learning Strategies". They have a website as well. Their Site

Any input or opinions? Anyone have first hand experience with this company or the product? Please post or PM me, thanks! :D

Well, it's nothing new.. just some speed reading techniques repackegd. Speed reading has been around for I dunno how long, but it depends on how well you apply the technique, and your mileage may very :D but reading that much information is onething, actually processing that much info is another. Mainly those books will teach your how to read and memorize information better, but you might not be able to digest that much information in the given period. You could read the proof of Fermat's last theorem in a few minutes, but I doubt you'll be instantly understand that all the proof is about :D (I know, this is probably an extreme case, but I'm just making an example)

my suggestion will be checking your local library to see what they have on the topics or bookstore..

just my $0.02

Hmm..yeah, that was what I was thinking...

But they market it as a basically giving you "photographic memory". :(

Time to hit the local library. :D

Bunch of BS is you ask me. It advertises as something that goes like "read a pages as fast as 2 seconds...the information instantly goes to your brain, and is stored there for years." Ya right....and my father is Capt. Picard.

yeah.. i've seen their site way back last year.

simply put.. you need more than just the program...

compliments like brain entrainment and relaxation techniques..

plus photoreading is not the only product they have..

Euphoria is an interesting one.. it garners specialities from other successful methods.. like centerpointe's technology and sedona.

i have high respects for centerpointe's work.. and when learning strategies can actually collaborate with centerpointe, i'd say they have a good track record.
