is this fast enough for a duron?

My duron is running at 105 x 8.5 (901) @ 40C .Is this high? Should I even try the other duron cpu that I have or is this about what I can expect from a duron as a stable speed. The chip will not post at all at 950mhz. I have an alpha pal6035 on it blowing at the heatsink. The other duron that I have is the very next one in sequence to this one. So it was made right after this one. I already have a potential buyer and thought it might be a waste of time to try the other one since the speed would not be much different. thanks
