Or would you buy a different one. I really wanted to wait to buy a new vc and monitor but I have to give my gtx 295 to my little cousin because his card crapped out

I have that exact card and its BOSS.Absolutely no issues. Even performs nice in a itx case cooling wise, stays very cool and overclocks well.

If you're invested in nvidia's ecosystem that's understandable, but this card can scream with this cooler.

If you're dead set on a 780, then you can't go wrong with any eVGA card. eVGA is arguably the best nvidia GPU manufacturer. I wouldn't mind paying an extra 10-20 bucks for an eVGA card.

You could buy one with that cooler directly from EVGA for $499 and OC it yourself, but I don't know what they charge to ship.
