For better or for worse, I don't game at all, so all I need to know is

a) can my current integrated graphics can run my new Dell 3007WFP monitor at 2560 x 1600 which requires dual-link DVI. I was having a bit of trouble googling the info. I'm currently running a Core i5 650 @ 3.2ghz, integrated graphics with Biostar TH55B HD motherboard and 16gigs of ram.

b) if not, what are the bargain video cards I might want to look into.

Thanks! Mike

Unfortunately the manual for your motherboard states a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. A cheap video card will be necessary.

Hoping AMD's upcoming desktop Oland cards will be perfect for this use case

Any graphics card you can possibly find being sold at a store will support that display.

Just look at all cards starting from the cheapest, and buy the first one that has no fan. No reason to risk a fan breaking down or being noisy. You should find one for something like $30-40.
