Is this Enermax PSU good enough?

Yes I think so but pcpwer&cooling would be MUCH better 😉

EDIT: if anyone else has some suggestions (under 90$) from ZipZoomFly...PLEASE show me some links! I wanna purchase this thing tonight.

Theres always something bigger and better 😀 I just need it to work and be stable!

I'm just waiting to hit the submit button on the purchase (with a few other items) till I'm sure it's a good PSU.

The Enermax will be fine.

PCP&C is a great brand, yes, but still way overpriced for what it is.

Ya get what ya pay for 🙂

I think its great people want to spend $ to get a "fast " "stable" system. But why would you want to skimp on the most important component? Its your pc 🙂

I don't think Enermax is skimping just cause there might be something better. They are supposed to make good PSU's. I just wanted to make sure it was enough output.

Cool I said YES in my 1st post just given my opinion on what I think is a much better PSU. 🙂

PcPowerAndCooling.com Silencer or TurboCool is a better choice. The Turbo Cool does come with a fast fan, but Custom Options are avalable
Ask for a quieter fan or a High-Low Switch. A better option would be to ask for a Self Adjusting Fan that changes RPM's when the Tempiture changes.

My Recomendation is the Turbo Cool with the Thermaly Controlled Fan.

PC Power and cooling will custom build any PSU to your specifications. Their qualty is better than Antec, OCZ, and Enermax's

Enough of the PCP&C 😀 I realize they are great...but I'm buying from ZZF and they don't carry PCP&C. Anyways I think the Enermax will do just fine.

Don't waste money on a PCP&C; you don't need it. The Enermax should be more than enough.

Waste? hmmm Not a waste at all!

It is in this case--the system does not need such a fancy PSU. Despite the PSU being the most important component of a computer, it makes no sense to overspend when you aren't going to see any increase in stability, assuming no OC (and even then, one of these Enermaxes is fine for overclocking, the PCP&P isn't needed there either).

Fancy? Have you owned one? It is the furthest thing from fancy! It is just made very well and if you have ever taken PSU's apart you will see. Anyways its not what is NEEDED its what makes you happy. Get what ya want Linus and NJOY 🙂

Do U oc Linus?

Yeah I'll see what she can do 🙂

At worst I can just get a different PSU if i'm not happy with this. My wife's system could always use a new one..lol. I don't think it should be a problem though.

If you overclock, maybe look into a higher-rated Enermax/Antec/OCZ/Seasonic, possibly with a bit more amperage on the 12V rail.

JBDan: You do know there's an edit button, right?
