128 megs 7ns cas2 ram for $100?? Sounds like an awesome deal to me. Dang, wondering if I should order. I need it to go 147 fsb cas3, which I'm guessing it can, but I don't want to take the risk yet. Anybody know about the quality of these?

Price seems low, but reseller rating sucks, 1.5
Only 2 people rated them though. I dont feel good about using them.

Actually it is not exactly a good deal.
RAM price dropped.

Micron, Infineon/Siemen 7.5ns 128MB PC133 are selling $102.
Generic PC133 128MB price around $70s.

TimeKeeper, I believe you are talking about 128MB PC133 cas3 RAMs. This is cas2. What is the brand? I don't trust generic brands.

What RAM would you recommend for an Pent III 700 looking to overclock to near 1 gig. Got plenty of cooling, just need a good memory recommendation.

Thanks, I know that this not the place but I didn't start this thread so I thought maybe someone would be able to help.

Nightwatch, try mushkin rev2, expensive, but well worth it. people have gotten it up to 150fsb 2-2-2

You can only buy mushkin from mushkin.com. Or in the group buys that appear right here in Hot Deals (might be one going on right now!).

I have Mushkin REV 1.5 at 150mhz cas @2-2-2! Works fine for me, I read Anand's memory test and the REV 1.5 went almost as high as my BX Master could go, so I figured why shell out the few extra bucks for a speed my processor wouldn't hit?

hi kao,

what does the cas2 and the 2-2-2 stand for? i see it all the time in the overclocking forum and from i what gather, its essential if you want to hit those new speeds.

the regular cas3 mushkin pc133 is 124 + 11 s&h , the cas2 2-2-2 mushkin one is at 189 + 11 shipping. a 65.00 difference!! i'm sure for others, that's like a drop in the ocean for them, but for me, that's alot of money. i wouldnt mind paying more if its a necessity, but can you just stick in the regular $124 mushkin and hope it runs in an overclocked system? for those knowledgeable in this area, mind shedding some light on this issue please? thanks! :D
