Thanks for the help Yomicron. I took a look at your rigs and see you have an IBM centrino thinkpad. Did you ever take a look inside and if so, did your pentium m cpu look like this one? Thanks.

I've taken it apart to install a wireless card, but I never removed the CPU heatsink. But, AnandTech's review of the T40 has a picture of the CPU
