Not cheating. The person at the other end is anonymous and acting. The husband is most likely acting too. That and nothing for a year are bad signs though. Although if the wife is witholding I don't see how she can even remotely consider it cheating. If the husband is witholding then it's a serious problem.

5) Having a relationship with someone else that hasn't yet reached love.
6) Actively looking for another relationship.

11) Just happen to be at a movie with mild nudity.

To me, the cutoff is around #5/#6.

Why?

They haven't been intimite in the past year, and she thinks he's not cheating? For that matter, she's probably sleeping around too.

:)

That is a load of crap. Guys are programmed to fantasize about sex and women (be it their spouse, the woman at the office, the chick at the mall, etc.) 24/7. The good husbands are the ones who can keep their hormones in check while staying in a loving relationship with their spouse.

Fantasizing about another woman doesn't mean you don't love your spouse. It just means you have baby batter on the brain.

Perhaps you should read the rest of my comments in this thread on the subject

The answer to her problem is:

SWINGING

if your marriage is strong and sincere enuff to weather the pressure and the jealosy of it ... if all that he/she wants is physical pleasure / lust than its not cheating ... just allow him/ her to explore that option too ...

If he's getting a one-handed workout while on the phone, then I'd say it's cheating. If he just does it for fun, then he should be able to stop. If he can't stop and is addicted, thenI'd also say it was cheating.

Good time for you to take charge as a young buck and tell her "Hell YEAH that is cheating that low down dirty man, why don't you and I get him back? Hows about 9:30 after the Family Guy?"

I volunteer YOU to have sex with this poor woman!

I don't consider this as cheating. More likely there is something wrong with the marriage. BTW, a year without any action would drive any normal man a little insance.
Slightly different view on the subject, would anybody change their answer if he got his jollies while watching porn?
