Can anybody tell me the current prices of these components in India.
Intel® Pentium D820
Intel® Desktop Board D945GNT
Kingston 1 x 1 GB RAM (for 667 MHz if it's in market, otherwise 533 MHz)
SATA Harddrive 120 GB (both for 5400 rpm and 7200 rpm)
Would like to have some suggestions/comments also:
1. Is this config good. I want a good system but have budget constraints also (hmm... of course I am not looking for the very high end system like with extreme processors etc. but like to have as good as I can).
My budget is Rs. 20000-22000 ($400-500) for the four components mentioned above.
2. I heard I should go for motherboard other than Intel and RAM of higher MHz. Somebody recommended me to go for gigabyte. Your comments?
3. I have a perception that you get most out of your system in cheap if you go for processor, motherboard and RAM with same bus speed, eg. all with 800 MHz bus. Is this right or tottaly incorrect? Any comments/guidance.
