Is this concert worth it?

I'm mainly interested in it for Mogwai, I guess. The problem is, right now I'm in Albuquerque. I live and go to school in Omaha, Nebraska. My original plan was to be back in Omaha on August 16th so I'd have a few days to get ready for school on the 23rd. This concert is on the 17th, so if I went to it I wouldn't be in Omaha until the 18th. That would leave two weekdays plus the weekend to move into my new dorm room and do whatever else I need to do before school starts.

Is Coors Ampitheater very good? I've been to Red Rocks, which was awesome. Tickets are $40-$65 depending on whether or not I get general admission. I might have to go to the concert alone too.

Vote now.

Mogwai are wonderful live. but the tickets are kinda expensive and id much rather see most of those bands in clubs.

With lollapalooza canceled this is the only worthwhile festival this summer. So i voted yes.

Mogwai is worth $100 live, no question. Seen them four times and they just get better everytime. That being said, the girlfriend and I are gonna skip out on seeing them at Curiosa, and instead drive down to Portland to see them instead (too bad they're playing with the rapture and cursive though, nothing worse then dance punk nerds and crybaby emo kiddies).

I went to coachella, but missed The Crue. I've seen them before and loved them, so I'm considering going to this concert as well. But, after Inland Invasion and Coachella, Kristin and I have kinda sworn off of these concerts. But we've said that before, so who knows :p

I'd love to see Interpol live, but I wouldn't shell out $50 for them. I wish they were just playing clubs this summer instead of this festival...

I happen to like The Cure, and have for numerous years, and have seen them a couple of times. That being said, while the new Cure album is pretty good, they've gone abit too long for me, while Mogwai is still fresh, and continues to push the boundaries of the style of their music.

I wouldn't go if someone paid me.

Too bad, I was gonna offer you $500.

Not worth it to listen to The Crap. I've never heard of the rest of them, but being associated with "The Crap" makes me completely uninterested.

Fvck yes! It's Mogwai!

I'm actually considering going to it in Dallas, but I need to find someone to go with me. I've managed to get most of my friends to listen to Mogwai, but not enough to drive to Dallas and pay $50 for a concert though. :(

The Rapture put on an awesome show and there will be tons of cute girls there to see them... definitely worth it.

cursive are a hell of a lot better than mogwai, i'll tell you that. if you're gonna listen to impressionistic rock, cut the crap and listen to a real band: sigur ros. the rapture suck though, i'm with you on that.
