Is This Compaq Support or Saturday Night Live?????

Never ever have I experienced such flimflam, incompetent
ignorant support as when I tried to ask Compaq Support a simple question. If I reprinted the endless email thread you folks
would think I'm making it up.

Anyway... anybody know where I can get the basic drivers
for a Presario 4910??? No, this ain't my machine, just trying
to help a friend. The drive blew up (as most of them did
on this model, I have recently learned.) Especially need the
modem driver, which is a house brand 56K ISA.
