My win ME preformance is better in all aspects then both win 98 and win 2k on the same machine.
This is to say that hard drive, memory, video and stability preformance under 3dmark 2000, wintune98, HD Tach and sandra, as well as just eyeballing my application speeds and the number of software crashes are all superior.
Under each operating system all available system patches and fixes from microsoft update as well as those offerd by the Bigfix application found at www.bigfix.com are applied as well as using all the latests device drivers from my hardware vendors. and applying all available patches fo my gameing and other software.
I Also find that windows ME runs smoother then both 98 and 2k under my hardware setup. Im just curious if i am an anomolie or if others have found Win ME to preform this well.
