Well recommending a gtx 480 is very difficult imho.Its a good card but it has lots of drawbacks.

personally, IMO, the gtx 480 with its drawbacks (I assume you're talking about power consumption/heat) is still better than a 560.

Corporate Thug, a hot power hungry card is not desirable for most people. a gtx560 is cheaper, uses way way less power and will get the job done for SC 2.

Just my recommendation. For some people (like myself), the performance increase is worth the heat and power.

Which psu do you have? A crap psu won't run such cards
