lol so neat, you would cry if you saw the inside of my case its so messy. I CBF with proper cable management in mid tower tbh, next case will be full or super atx and I will have some nice cables."good enough" IMO means that the system will perform within desired parameters.
This is not good enough, because the fan on the top can easily catch the cables up there, and bad juju will ensue.
I strongly suggest getting a wire fan grille for the inside of the fan on the top, AND the cable ties, at the very least, with the aim of keeping all the wires from the moving parts.
Some of my own systems are just basic cable management, keeping the wires from the fans, and look like a mess otherwise... like the core 2 duo I am on now, which is my bench system to work on hard drives and the like for other systems.
My main systems though they all have very neat wire routing and management.

Yes, this is a genuine ISA AMD 386 40MHz.

To be honest, it looks pretty messy. Sleeved cable extensions should go to the adjacent rubber grommet, not tucking everything at the bottom grommet.
The cables themselves are flexible. The sleeving will stiffen the cables but it will still be quite bendable as long as the cables are able to. We're not going for a 90 degree bend here, just do a soft bend. Length will usually be the most common issue with EPS connectors but you have extensions, so you have sufficient slack to do a tighter bend.I tried that for the mobo, cpu, gpu extensions and it was going to bend far too much :/
yes, it's good enoughFirst build, just wondering if this cable management is good enough?
The best you could do is good enough, the next time you build - it will not be. Each one gets better as your demands increase with your skill level. When I see a computer I build a few years ago......what was I thinking. Although, at the time I thought they were pretty good. I'm sure that will always be the case. Satisfaction has a limited lifespan. Isn't that why we do this?
