Is this board SLI ready?

The problem with this board is that it doesnt support 2 graphics running at 16x.One of your card would run at 16x while the other card is running at 8x. The new 890FX allows you to run both your card at 16x. If your planning and using this pc your building for gaming. I would say spend the extra money on a board around 199-250 board. The chipset on this board is kinda old technology. You can buy a 890FX board which will support the coming architecture thats coming out in the future. So spend your wisely on a nice stable board. AMD six core doesnt do well with this board. Lets just say if you plan on getting that type of CPU in the future.

No, no AMD-chipset mobo supports SLI. SLI is Nvidia-only (and Intel P55 and X58 too, due to a licensing deal that NV made).

This is exactly why i am jumping ship to intel. I always buy whatever the best bang for the buck as far as GPU's at the time i purchase and wanted my options open. As i have no brand loyalty i wanted the ability to run ATI or Nvidia GPU's in SLI/CF and the only way to do that is with intel. And if you are going SLI or CF the intel CPU's are much stronger than AMD so really its a win win with a intel platform at this point in time.
