Is this board any good?

I know this is a lot to ask you guys but I would appreciate it. Could you please look at in my rigs, under "Main PC", and let me know if this MOBO, Asus CUSL2-C, would work fine with all the crap I have? I am tired of VIA chipsets and all their quirks. I have an SFF system with the same chipset (intel 815) that this asus has and like its performance. But before I get the CUSL2-C, I need to know if my stuff will be compatible and not have any major issues. Thanks guys.

It would be great, right up until your ram. 815 boards have a 512mb limitation, and the CUSL2 specifically has a quirk about only using 2 double sided dimm's, and then one single sided one.

BTW: what in the sam hill do you need 1024mb of ram for!?!?

Other than that, the cusl2 is a very well respected board.

Mr. Bart.....
I'm going to be getting a CUSL2-C in a few weeks.
Could you please give more details on your comment
about the memory quirk???
_______thanks____________

🙂 I have a gig basically because I got it for free. I do a lot of video editing, not that the 1gig helps but it cant hurt. I guess i'll need to check if its double sided or not. Also, does this board support ECC? All my ram iss ecc. If it doesnt support it, can I still use it just witout ecc enabled?

Hey Oyeve....nobody else is replying ...
Just a reminder that the mobo manual is on Asus's site.
You can D/L and print it or just read it....
