Hi all,
I just ordered a new 9 cell battery from a vendor in NYC. It works great, but my Ubuntu install keeps warning me that the battery may have been recalled. I visited the IBM website, and it says that some of the batteries with my model number were recalled, but not all, but in order to tell, you need to run a utility which only runs on Windows (which I'm not running).
In any event, the details are below:
Product: IBM-92P1073
Status: Discharging
Percentage charge: 43.0%
Vendor: SONY
Technology: Lithium ion
Serial number: 6415
Model: IBM-92P1073
Charge time: 4 hours 40 minutes
Discharge time: 2 hours 4 minutes
Current charge: 33.6 Wh
Design charge: 77.8 Wh
Charge rate: 16.3 W
I've tried searching, but I'm not sure if it's recalled or not. Any ideas?
