I noticed on boot up that the bios on my DFI nF4-Ultra-D detected my USB Flash drive that I had plugged into the system. In the Advanced Settings Menu of the BIOS, you are able to select the USB Flash drive as a boot device. Is this truely a useful feature? has anyone tried it, or am i the first to notice? If it really works, one could load the windows XP CD onthe drive and do an instal, am I right? would probably even be faster than a CD...

It can work, but it can be iffy. Some boards will boot on some flash drives, some won't. I think it depends on both the bios and the type of flash / formatting of the flash.

Yeah it should work. Thats what we are useing to do a Ghost boot up at work. So if it works on Gateways (of different years) then it should definatly work on the DFI
