There used to be a notice in one of the Rules posts that said you weren't allowed to charge a fee for raceiving a Paypal payment... this was a Paypal rule, not an AT rule... but either my eyes are going, or it has been removed.

Mods?

It's still there, third "paragraph" down...

<< Due to an update in the PayPal terms of service, it is a violation to charge buyers a "service fee" or "service charge". >>

I think the issue becomes what's considered a service fee or service charge, no matter how thinly veiled it may be.

I see the Paypal rule, where is the credit card rule?
Edit, I see, it's a Paypal credit card rule.

The way I remember Paypal explaining it is that it's a law that was already in place that they believe extends to Paypal payments...The silly thing is that it's totally legal (as Ebay and Paypal will both attest to) to offer buyers a "cash discount" when the buyer pays using a cashier's check, money order, euros, goats as currency, ANYthing but Paypal
