Oh, I was invisioning plugging an ethernet cable and a power cable in on one end, and it giving me an ethernet cable and a power outlet on the other end? Is it not possible to get back to an AC outlet on the other end?

The devices you point to are SPECIFIC to the SMC2455W/SMC2482W, if that's what you have, you're all set.

you can use just an unpowered hub up there and just run ethernet cable to it. that will work fine, as long as you stay within the lenght restrictions.

With that, do you still need the injectors?

Those are home made injectors.

All you are doing is using 2 of the wires in a cat 5 to carry 12v power. It's very simple, cut the power adapter cable from you WAP, and just splice your power adapter for the WAP you are using into two of the lines in the cat5. All you have to know is which wires the network actually uses, and make sure you don't send power into those two. :), then at the terminal end of the network cable, splice the end of the powersupply cable that has the adapter onto the same two wires you spliced the power adapter too... be sure you get the polarity right. You now have a powered network cable, complete with built in powersupply. :)
