Or you can use Tasker/Juice Defender and have them do it by location (cell tower, not GPS so it doesn't waste battery).

I actually use the verizon appp to turn on/off wifi. It uses cell towers which are obviously not exact, but it works well enough so that my wifi is always off at work and always on at home. I'm surprised that verizon put out a simple and useful app.

indeed i do. considering the touchstone mod....

yeah. my choice has been external battery chargers and spare batteries. a quick swap and i have a full charge. i plan on doing this until wireless charging becomes common.
