I thought the 2100+ b's were aiuhb??

doesnt run 2162mhz stable at 1.7 volts (asus probe read as 1.76) :(
but so far it hasnt crashed at 1.725 volts.

did i get a crappy chip??

any feedback appreciated :)

I've seen a Xp2100 on a JIUHB and they're NOT good overclockers. I suppose that they're using the same die as the ones used in Xp1700 since it's the JIUHB stepping.

JIUHB are Tbred Bs and are the good OCers. 1700s, 2100s, 2400s should overclock the same. They are the same dies, some are just down binned to keep up with demand.

Have you lowered the multiplier? You might be able to squeeze a few more MHz out of the chip. 0308 might not have been a good week.

There are two versions of tbred B. One is a the AIUHB and the other is the JIUHB. JIUHB are found to be used more on the Xp1700 than the Xp2100. The AIUHB is somehow a better yield than the JIUHB (Not always but many have good experience with AIUHB compared to JIUHB). JIUHB can overclock to 2.2ghz or more but AIUHB can go beyond that much easier than the JIUHB.

im running 2146mhz now (1.725v), and 195x11 FSB. seems to be ok (195 is my max fsb with this ram)
id like to try higher, if someone has any experience with higher voltage with this chip. how much can I run safely?
