For my screenplay I have my main character an 18-year-old 3D game programmer. His profile consists of a good-looking, intelligent young man who is good with people. He's supposed to be the envied guy of high school but he has this hobbie of game programming which kind of contradicts the profile since I've never seen a good-looking geek.

take in mind that every movie involving a geek and their lives has failed miserably in the box office.

Of the 100k members in anandtech, about 39 of them are actual people. And of those 39, 3/4 of them are too cheap to watch movies since they frequent catid=40

Funny how being a geek got so "cool" within 5 years.

Well, this screenplay is supposed to be an allegory of my life, being a geek isn't a big part of the movie. It's just supposed to be something he fails at that aids to his depression.
