Is this a sign of the end ....

Last night on ESPN, I almost wanted to shoot myself. They had "professional" rock/paper/scissors. I couldn't beleive my eyes. I thought it was a joke, but these competitors looked dead serious and there was an offical and everything. It was real "competition".

What is this world coming to? The NHL is on lockout and has been replaced by this?

I'm sure some people look at hockey and say "man, a bunch of nuts on ice with sticks... gimme old RoShamBo any day..."

ESPN never showed much hockey anyway. They'd rather show women's college basketball than an NHL game... College sports alone is boring as hell. :|

I think it's because of interest in hockey... how the hell people can't see a black puck on white ice is beyond me.

My mom can't se ethe puck. OK, boards are in the way sometimes. I'll give you that. But see those 4 guys all piled together?

In general, you really have to watch it more than once to gain an appreciation. Just from the aspect of skill required.

Oh, and thank god that blue puck highlighting vcrap is GONE!

I've seen some games in HDTV at the mall. Puck/action is much easier to see/follow. That might help popularize the sport in the US.
