Is this a scam?

I bought a Logitech Harmony Remote for 80 dollars from a user on amazon.com, and it seems like a good deal...I receive the package today and it was overnighted to me from Buy.com. I've heard of these type of scams where the person uses a stolen credit card and buys stuff from companies and have them directly ship to that person. Cause i just check the price of the remote on buy.com and it's over 100 dollars. I did pay with my amazon credit card, and it's tracked thru amazon, so I am pretty sure it's covered if it's a scam. The user has 97% positive over the past 12 months (37 ratings.) 37 lifetime ratings, so I am not sure what to think now.

Maybe he had a buy.com giftcard and just wanted cash instead so he sold a remote and shipped it from them to you?

That might be the case, but here is his store front ... http://www.amazon.com/gp/shops...ellerID=A1C220TQ3B30W7
and the account looks less then 2 weeks old.

With that new information I can say...

...

I don't know but others were happy so probably not something you should worry about.

If he did use a stolen cc, the person probably won't know about it until he gets his statement...and since he has no feedback over 1 month old, I am highly suspicious about this deal right now. I am glad I paid with Amazon Credit Card, it should cover me but I really want to open this remote and start playing with it.
