Is this a safe way to upgrade to W2k?

Hi All,

I have 5 cpu's on MS network (linksys 100 switches) running Win98se. I want to upgrade to W2k BUT only on 1 cpu at a time. Reasons: clean install, work out all the problems BEFORE continuing on.
Is there a problem using Win98se & W2k on the same network, as I have planned?

Thanks for your time and experience...

I'm using combinations of Win2K Pro, Win2K Server, Win98SE & WinNT in one of the site that I run RC5. Win98SE act as the buffer server and the only thing I noticed is that if Win98SE cracking rate goes down, the rate of some of the other machines running Win2K go down as well. Otherwise, no real problem.
