Hi,
I'm getting a new rig in a month or so and I wanna know if this would be a realistic goal for the setup:

ABIT IC7-G - i875P
INTEL P4 2.6GHZ 800MHZ
CPU FAN Zalman CNPS 7000 Cu
2x Cosair CMX256A-3200C2 256Mb module

System clock: 270Mhz
FSB : 1080Mhz
MEM 5:4 : 432Mhz
Processor : 3510Mhz

If this is NOT a realistic what should I go for?

Mabye I shoulf go for the the 466 mems and just clock and run the sysclock at 230-250 somthing and be happy with that?

Or perhaps get the 2.4 processor at the same FSB speed?

Best regards

well, you don't know if this is realistic or not because you need to get the rig setup. You need to test the rig to see if this is possible. Sometimes, you probably will get like 210FSB or sometimes get like crazy 290FSB. WHO KNOWS????????

The stuff you're getting are almost the exact stuff i got right now, although we have different kinds of RAM but i OC my stuff to 3125MHz (240x13) with 5/4 ratio without any probs, system is 100% stable and can take alot more but im satisified with the performance.

270FSB seems a bit overkill but it might work but why do you need to push your new hardware so hard? start by OC to around 3GHz and work your way up. Make sure you run prime95 and memtest86 atleast 12 hours to check stability...gl
