Howdy all, trying to fix up my case.. and I just realized my PSU has 3 yes 3 differant floppy connectors, and they are all on cords that I need to use [Dont have a floppy either..]

If a cord has a female connector, followd by a floppy [The floppy has its own 4 cords going into the female connector is it OK to remove the 4 floppy cords from the pins or will it screw up something?

Sorry if thats a bit confusing.. dunno how to explain it

I usually just bundle them out of the way ..as long as the contacts don't ground on anything they'll be ok and you can use the molex connectors for your other stuff just fine

yeah you can remove them as you cover the loose wires up permanently. i had a wire get stripped or something on a sharp edge and ground to the case while i was bringing it to school. when i turned it on the case filled with burnt rubber smoke(literally clouds coming out the back and two wires were glowing inside all in about three seconds
