Is this a mourning dove?

Saw this bird when I was getting out of the car:

I see a lot of mourning doves in Newnan, GA 30263 USA...but they're usually not this slender and this bird looks a bit brighter. Also, mourning doves around here usually make a nervous sound when they fly away from you and this bird didn't.

...I'm not going to register on some bird-watching forum just to ask this.

Looks like one to me. Why so interested? They're about as common as sparrows.

They usually aren't so slender
