Is this a Morgan????

I've recently bought a retail AMD Duron 1 ghz. I'm wondering if it's the newer Morgan core or the older Spitfire core.
Please give me a way to ID it and if possible a link to a website that shows the difference. Or... there's only 1ghz Morgan and no 1ghz Spitfire?.....

CPU ID says

Family 6 / 7 (extended)
Model 7/ 7 (..)

so I'm guessing it's the newer Morgan (or the MP core) Durons. I need to figure this out ASAP. Oh and SSE is supported. Was that not supported in the Spitfire's Duron?

You're right, it's a Morgan by reason of being a 1GHz. The last Spitfire was the 950MHz, and there were also some Morgan 900's and 950's made.

You're also correct about the SSE, these instructions were added to the Morgan / Palomino and were not supported on the older Spitfire / Tbird.
