ok here is my problem, when i turn on my pc i get no video, beeps etc. the only thing that happens is the fans run. i disconnected all hardware that wasnt needed. i tried an old pci card, still no video. i tried another ps, ram, still no video. the only thing i didnt try another of is the mb and cpu, just because i dont have those spare parts. but i did remove the cpu completely, and still same thing, no beeps or video or nothing.

with everything i tried i would think i would get atleast video or a beep. now this is a cheap tigerdirect system with a cheap motherboard, i do not know if the cheap boards come with warning beeps.

what do you all think, is it the motherboard or cpu?

Are you sure the psu connectors were all plugged into the mobo - including the cpu 4 pin (square) and any other connectors that may have to be connected.
Basically, if it is there, plug it in.
