pretty sure its a desktop drive. most laptop drives are 4200rpm

Lets hear it for Google! 😀 (I checked there too.)
I figure that a vendor (if they are halfway intelligent anyway) will specifically label a drive as "laptop" or "mobile" if it is, because they always are more expensive per GB than desktop drives. So if it doesn't say anything like that, it's probably a desktop drive.

Thats what I thought, but the site seems to be geared towards notebook products. Also, the RPM seemed slow enough to be for a laptop and the power consumption was 7.5 max watts. Thanks for clearing it up.
