I've never heard of it, is it any good? Has anyone tried it?

I've tried it. It pretty cool in the beginning and it really gives you the sensation of 3d.

Bad things:

Everything is in shades of red and blue.
You have to concentrate and get used to the 2 pictures.
You lose performance because it has to produce two pictures at once.
It doesn't really feel like a concrete picture, a little frustrating.
Dark picture.
Everything bright is red and dark is blue.
takes away from the game's emersion.

I tried it, thought it was cool, but I think its better to experience the game without picture frustration.

You need 3-d glasses to use it. A monitor with a really high refresh rate. Otherwise expect to get a headache after using it awhile. Won't work if you got a LCD monitor.
