Is this a good wireless router?

I am planning on buying a laptop soon and although I haven't found the right one as of yet I saw this deal for Black Friday at Staples. You get both the router and laptop card although i want it to be built into a laptop is this a good wireless router to begin with?

Yes, if all you're looking for is something to surf the web, wireless G is more than enough. And Netgear is a solid brand.
 
wireless g is pointless supports like 45megabits per sec i dont know about you but is your connection that fast?dont waste your money get what you can support

but it's also good for sharing files, since routers are usually a switch as well...i transfer stuff through my router because it's also a switch, and it would really SUCK if it was 10megabits, (I have 100mbit)
 
That is PCMCIA or Cardbus if it's a Laptop. Cardbus uses the PCI Bus but it's still a PCMCIA card. He stated in his origional message he wanted a Laptop with Built in WiFi so in that case he does not need a card at all.
 
one or more computer on the netgear? i ordered one, but need a router for 3 computeres, will it work if i get the extra wireless cards?
 
what i found nice about G is that you can stream movies to laptop/xbox a lot more reliably than with b.
