Is this a good router to buy?

The local Costco by me has this for $94.99.

" D-Link DGL-4100 10/100/1000Mbps GamerLounge"

The D-Link site doesn't list one with that exact name, but they do have the DGL-4100 listed
here.

Maybe that "GamerLounge" verbage might be some special package they made for the big box blow-out retailers like Costco, I don't know.

Is that a good router to buy? Is that an O.K. deal?

Use: Home network of 3 desktops in 3 rooms, plus a laptop that comes & goes with me. Internet connection is DSL modem.

Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

the 4100 is a great router as long as you dont need wireless connectivity ( comes in handy for laptops ). if you need wirless then you want the 4300.

I have a DGL-4300 and it's great. The only thing I wished it had was support for jumbo frames. If you don't need wireless you could go with the 4100 and always add a wireless access point later. I got mine mostly for the 100Mbps wan port which coupled with a 100Mbps cable modem allowed me to take full advantage of 10+Mbps speeds.
