I've been looking at the ocz modxstream 600w modular psu i checked newegg and it's gotten good reviews for the most part but is it actually a good psu?

ok im guessing since this post has been here since 10am and no one has answered it that either A. no one has used this power supply or B. No one is going to answer.

I'm going to be powering an Intel i3570k on an asrock z77 extreme 4 with 8gb of ddr3 1600 dual channel(so 2x4gb) 5 case fans 1.5 tb seagate barracuda green 5900rpm hdd. Dvd burner and a his Radeon iceq 7850 looking to stay around the same price as the ocz.also it's got to be from microcenter

OP: You don't need anything near that 750w listed. You have 1 7850, so if price is an issue, anything 400-500 watts from Antec, Corsair, or Seasonic is fine.

and what about this?
i heard made with same quality component from seasonic ...
ocz series zt 650w FULL MODULAR...?

Well when you're building a rig the component most likely to fail first or be doa is your power supply or hdd, so I would make sure to invest extra to go with a reputable brand. I have had bad experiences with OCZ psus, so I would personally avoid them (they make decent memory though). Not only to many of them make loud whining noises, but mine died in 2 years, and I'm not even much of a gamer, running my old 9800gtx+ on 700w. I recommend you pay a small premium to avoid future headaches by going with offerings from Corsair or Seasonic-both of which make some of the best stuff on the market. Other OK brands are Antec and Coolermaster and Silverstone. Also NEVER EVER buy Raidmax....NEVER!
