Is this a good PSU?

Hello, i really dont know anything when it comes to powering my computers, accept how much wattage i would probably need. I dont know what PFC or Dual +12V is...but i do know what easy wires are, and thats why i like this PSU.

It will be powering:

AMD 4000+ San Diego
OCZ 2GB (2pcs x 1GB) DDR 400 2-3-2-5
Rosewill ATI Radeon X800XL 256MB
ASUS A8V-E Deluxe
WD 74GB 10000 RPM SATA
WD 250GB 7200 RPM SATA
and then some other small things that dont matter...

So is this a good psu, or are there other better ones out there.

PS - I'm looking for a QUIET PSU, i have spent extra cash on getting quiet fans for my computer, so if my PSU sounds like a blowhorn, then im in trouble. So i hope that this PSU is quiet so that i do not hear it. Thanks

Not bad, but for that much money I would go with either of these both about the same cost. I think Antec is the way to go for power supplies if you want to spen the money.

For that much money, you could get a Fortron Blustorm 500W which is much better than that one. As said above, if you want as quiet as it gets, get a Seasonic.

I have heard a lot of great things about Seasonic, but none of theirs have those EZ wires, and i really dont want any unused wires floading around in my case. Are there any super quiet PSUs that have that feature. If not, i will go with the Seasonic, because the noise is my #1 problem im worried about. But finding a PSU with EZ wires, and is super quiet, would be my mecca

I agree in most cases. What about slipping an Antec Phantom 350 or 500 (http://www.antec.com/us/pro_p_Phantom.html)
into an Antec P180 case

The Phantom 500 has a total of seven cable sets:

19" sleeved cable for 24-pin ATX connector
24" cable with a standard 4-pin AUX12V power connector and an 8-pin 4x12V connector for EPS12V (dual CPU) - The latter feature is not in the Phantom 350.

For a power supply of this wattage, the Phantom 500 has surprisingly few cables. This is a good thing: "surprisingly few" is still far more than most ordinary systems require, and fewer wires to impede case airflow. Even dual-processor servers should not be missing any connectors.

$112 for a Antec NeoPower 480W? Why not go for the Antec TP2-430 instead, for $80? It has dual 17A rails, which is more than the NP480, and only slightly lower ratings on the 3.3/5V rails.

Based on a power supply review on Anandtech a while ago, Enermax was one of the best, beating out all the rest in the least voltage fluctuations and stability. It also runs in ~100$ range

Read the PSU 101 for information. Go with a single 120mm fan for silence. Modular cables are not necessary, the extra unused cables can easily be stowed out of the way.
