Not great, but more then fair, and those drives are very fast for 5400 rpm's.
My bud has the 45 version (even though it's like 40 after you format it
), and it's just a step behind my Maxtor 7200rpm 40 gig in the same exact system, and you can't notice it when using it at all.
He actually got higher benches once he put it in his rig (Abit SE6 mobo). Most likely has a better controller on his board.
I've got an old 7200 rpm that's slower then that drive. Buy it IMO.

Cool thanks! I bought a new GForce2 MSI 64 Megs Pro and the 60 GIG H/D last night. Needed to upgrade my voodoo 3-3500 card.
