Are these good components for a $1500 build?:hmm:

Cpu - i5-3570k = $220
Gpu - EVGA 02G-P4-2678-KR GeForce GTX 670 FTW 2GB = $400 or $380 (Rebate)
Mobo - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 = $135
HDD - HDD Western Digital WD Blue WD7500AZEX 750GB 7200 RPM = $85
SSD - SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series = $140
PSU - CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W = $93 Or $73 with > (Rebate)
Ram - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB = $67
Cpu Cooler - COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO = $35 Or $30 with > (Rebate)
Dvd Burner - LITE-ON DVD Burner = $18
OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM = $100

Sweet, just built myself a new i5-3570k system ... in my sig. I recommend going with the Pro version of Windows 7, however. That way you can properly use a limited user (non-admin) account for surfing the web safely. Otherwise nice ...

Just a couple of nitpicks:

HDD - you're paying too much for that 750GB drive - 1TB drives are available for $65: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Mobo - that board currently comes with a free stick of 8GB of RAM. Either drop your RAM purchase all together or pick up a second Crucial stick.

Case - if you like the styling, then go for it, but there are probably better cases available for a lot less. I happen to like the styling of the Corsair Carbide 500R, which is currently $90AR: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811139010

You can make limited accounts (non-admin) accounts with Home Premium.

Is crucial good ram better then G-Skill?

There are three different RAM sets being talked about here:

(1) the one in the CPU/motherboard/RAM combo - Corsair CAS11: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233385

I don't recommend this RAM, and in my opinion, that bundle isn't a particularly good deal.

(2) the one that comes with the ASRock Extreme4 - Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 CAS9: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148661

I recommend this highly.

(4) the one I believe the OP was referencing - G.Skill DDR3-1600 CAS8: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231445

Excellent RAM, very good price.
 
My two cents: the latencies and frequency don't really matter for Intel. What should matter is price: find the lowest priced RAM that you can, regardless of latency or frequency (within reason; you'll want at least 1333MHz).

I don't know how you could say this. The RAM is literally free in the combo. You get a $97 discount AR, which pays for the RAM $65 and $32 of the mobo.

EDIT: To be 100% clear, you get BOTH the Corsair and Crucial RAM if you go for the combo (add it to your cart to see for yourself). You're getting an extra DIMM and a discount for buying the combo versus buying the CPU and Mobo (+ free RAM) separately.
