Is this a good monitor?

Exactly what monitor are you looking at?? I saw NEC and I was just going to reply "YES" it's a good monitor.. they make really good monitors IMO..

I have an FE700+ at home on my secondary PC and I just love it.. extremely good color saturation and clarity.. very good monitor!!
i honestly give it 9.5/10 with the only problems being the refresh rate.. it won't do 75Hz or more over 1152x864.. when i set it to 1280x1024 i have to use 60Hz which is the only bad thing.. so I run 1152x864/75

but it runs awesome at 1024x768/85 - looks very good at these settings.


I whole-heartedly recommend NEC.

 
Yes and no.

MS95 is Dot Trio CRT, dot pitch is 0.26mm, old non-flat CRT type.

I'd buy AS95F instead,
new Flat Invar Shadow Mask CRT, 0.24-0.28mm variable dot pitch,
price is similar.
