Is this a good monitor?

Most reviews go on and on about the 7800GTX needing a high resolution in order to take advantage of the card. How about this monitor: Iiyama 22" CRT? It does a max res of 2048x1536 / @ 88 Hz. Seems like a perfect fit for the 7800GTX...

There honestly isn't a whole lot of innovation left in the CRT market to distinguish one monitor from another. It's probably fine. Go to your local BestBuy / Circuit City / CompUSA / what have you, and look. That's the best way to decide on a monitor.

According to this review ( http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1641163,00.asp ) by PC Magazine it works well up to a resolution of 1280 x 1024. Above that resolution due to bandwith limitations the images get distorted. However, this is something pretty much universal to CRT's, as nearly all of them have trouble at ultra high resolutions.

I honestly recomend just getting an LCD at this point. Try them at least, you will not be disappointed with a high quality LCD.
