Is this a good monitor?? LG L203WT

that's the monitor. I want it because i am on a small budget for monitors and i wanted to get a good 20" monitor with component input (for game consoles) and DVI. Anything i should look out for? is the panel type good? are the specs good?

Yes, I have this monitor. Had it for about 4 months now and love it! I think the Sammy 206BW or maybe it's 226BW...sorry can't remember is better, but it's also a 22 inch monitor and it's more expensive, but not much more.

Anyway, I'd highly recommend this monitor! If you want to see allot reviews and in-depth reviews on it, goto www.widecreengamingforum.com and you can decide for yourself. Especially for gaming, this panel rocks!

I originally bought a Dell 20 inch monitor...Dell 2007WFP and while it was the overall best looking panel, it had too much motion blur in games. It's response time is 16ms and the LG L204WT's is 6ms! Believe me, it makes a noticeable difference! So if your in the market for a 20 inch LCD, I'd get the LG!

I'd look at Circuit City...they have the 22 inch Sammy. They also have the LG, that's where I bought mine from.

well i've noticed while googling around for reviews, that people were reviewing the monitor without component input. It's still the same monitor though right? If you check out the specs on the website i linked to, they are different from what you have already said

Hi, nice monitor, but no pivot or HIGHT adjustment. I got this 20" wide monitor, 5ms response, only 600:1 contrast but it means its not so bad on the eyes if prolonged use!

well i dont need any adjustments, just a good image quality and a component and DVI input. Does the monitor i posted have good specs? What type of panel is it?

Pehaps I'm missing something...That's a 20" wide screen@1680x1050.

My 22" WS has that exact same resolution. Somewhere is a typo, but I can confirm I have 1680x1050 on a 22" monitor.

NOTE: My 22" WS (a Hanns-G) cost the same also. Great picture, great response.

22" and 20" both use 1680x1050, didn't you know?

but so far, i haven't gotten a real reply if it's good or bad. i also need to know if it has any problems or something
