Hello everyone.

I am trying to decide if this 6800 would be a good match for my system.

My specs are:

Emachine T3265
FIC AU31 Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 3200+
512 PC2700(Going to get this corsair memory)
64 MB Onboard Graphics(It REALLY sucks...)
160Gig Hard Drive

Any help would be very appreciated!

well, it will be slightly cpu limited at anything under 12x10, but it's fine. 1gb ram is really minimum. 1.5gb-2gb speeds ups mmorpgs/bf2 a lot over 1gb of ram but most games run well with 1 gb ram.

6800/6800GT would be a nice match for your system. Wow, you're going from integrated graphics to a 6800. Youch!! You're not gonna believe it.

Ya, well at first i had a (crappy) Fx 5200. But blew out. But that crappy card is about the same as my integrated. And i'm hoping for that big performance increase!

I would get 1.5gb of ram, but this mobo only has 2 ram slots and i have a tight budget, so if i got this memory, would everything in BF2 with that 6800 run smoothly at maybe high settings?

1 gig will do fine with your proc and 6800.

if you can afford it, 6800GT would be better with more memory, and there have been some nice deals around for it....

I run bf2 with a p4 2.4, 1gig pc2100 ddr, and a radeon 9700 with a dell 2005fp. Game runs just fine but haven't tried high settings.

1gb RAM is really all that is needed for gaming atm except for BF2 (Even then, just lower Textures, and you wont notice a graphical difference).
